Lucky for me, there are no heads in the band, but the lead singer is prone to verbal diarrhea when he's bored- and when he runs out of nonsense to say, he starts spouting noises at irregular intervals. It would be nice to program the MK during long van rides, which I actually use on stage (unlike the laptop). I love love LOVE my closed-back headphones when I'm on tour! I've been using them with my laptop, editing audio and messing with soft synths. Now i want to send this midi track back to the Synth. In Reaper i have a Midi-Track, which was played in with the Microkorg (so, midi-in is working). In fact, it’s physically smaller and the front panel has been simplified, making it easier than ever, Korg. Called the MicroKorg XL, you may be forgiven for thinking it’ll have more keys, buttons, knobs and switches. Posted on 11:28 am colby miller Member Since: Jul 21, 2007. In the Microkorg i set the midi channel to Channel 1. A new version of the popular MicroKorg miniature synthesizer has been launched. I'm thinking I'll get one for the MK eventually, if I can find one that charges enough batteries. i´m trying to send midi-signals from REAPER to my Microkorg XL via USB Connection, but it doesn´t work.

The thing takes 15 minutes to charge the batteries, and they last. Since then, I got a 4-battery Duracell charger as a gift (for a digital camera).

And I kept forgetting to turn off the MK. The batteries didn't hold the charge long. I used a bunch of cheap rechargeables and a cheap charger for the MK, but it wasn't practical. If you're going to use batteries, it's probably worth it to get a good set of rechargeables and a fast charger.
